SIGMA has been questioning the genuine value of a digital camera
and how can we break down manufacturer’s ideas of camera-centric hierarchies and categories.

61 megapixels. The highest resolution presented by Sigma.

The Sigma fp L features a Bayer sensor with approximately 61 effective megapixels, higher than any other Sigma camera before it. In addition to images with fine details, the fp L is capable of creating high-definition, vibrant images. The camera leverages Sigma’s knowhow in image processing with Foveon sensors and includes a low-pass filter to minimize moiré while enhancing optical performance.
Crop Zoom

The fp L’s high resolution allows extreme zooming or cropping. The Crop Zoom feature, usable in both STILL and CINE modes, provides full HD quality even at 5x zoom with no image degradation, thanks to pixel cropping without digital enhancement. Pinch to zoom functionality is also supported on the LCD screen.
Hybrid Autofocus

The Sigma fp L combines high-precision contrast AF and fast phase-detection AF, offering smooth and precise tracking whether shooting stills or video.
Unlimited Power Supply
