In Italy, SIGMA does not have its own legal entity or local company. The brand is represented exclusively by the official distributor Mtrading Srl, which:

• manages the official SIGMA channels intended for the Italian market;
• manages the SIGMA website aimed at the Italian public;
• operates in accordance with the guidelines, directives and policies defined by SIGMA Corporation;
• is operationally responsible for the moderation, management and publication of content, within the limits of the guidelines received.

• Friday: 8:45 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:45;
• Saturday, Sunday and national holidays: closed;
• Scheduled closures: summer and winter holidays.

11. Disclaimer of liability

Mtrading Srl, as operator of the official SIGMA channels intended for the Italian market and acting in accordance with the directives of SIGMA Corporation, specifies that:

• social media services rely on third party platforms, therefore the technical functioning of those platforms cannot be guaranteed;
• it is not possible to provide support in relation to malfunctions of social platforms, their apps or related software
• it is not responsible for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the channels;
• it is not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties
• in the event of a violation of this Policy that causes damage, Mtrading Srl may seek recourse against the user;
• this Policy may be amended without notice, following instructions from SIGMA Corporation or at the decision of the operator.
  

12. Guidelines for the removal of content and prohibited conduct

Content that falls within the following categories, which are defined by SIGMA Corporation and applied by Mtrading Srl as operator of the Italian channels, will be removed:

• posts that are unlawful, contrary to public decency or that contain offensive or obscene expressions;
• false, misleading or unlawful content
• discriminatory or defamatory content, or content that violates image rights or privacy;
• content that raises ethical concerns
• content that is not relevant or that destabilises the community
• violations of the Terms of Service of the platforms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn;
• unauthorised promotional or commercial content;
• disclosure or inference of personal data or confidential information;
• sock puppetry, meaning the use of multiple accounts to manipulate interactions;
• impersonation or use of false identities;
• upload of software or protected content without authorisation;
• publication of viruses, malware or harmful files;
• use of falsified names or forged information;
• acts that interfere with the operation of the services or cause damage to SIGMA Corporation, Mtrading Srl or third parties;
• overloading of service resources;
• falsification of information;
• any other behaviour reasonably considered inappropriate by SIGMA Corporation or Mtrading Srl.
  

13. Processing of personal data

Where Mtrading Srl collects personal data through the SIGMA channels intended for the Italian market, such data will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679, GDPR, and applicable Italian legislation.

The applicable Privacy Policy is the one published by Mtrading Srl on the official SIGMA website intended for Italy.

14. Intellectual property rights

• Rights to content posted by users remain with the users;
• The user grants Mtrading Srl, on behalf of SIGMA Corporation, a non exclusive, royalty free licence to use the content in accordance with SIGMA directives;
• It is prohibited to reproduce or distribute materials obtained from SIGMA channels beyond the limits of copyright law;
• It is prohibited to infringe image rights, copyright, trademarks or reputational rights of SIGMA, Mtrading Srl or third parties.
  

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

For matters not expressly covered by this Policy, any disputes between users and Mtrading Srl, in its role as operator of the official SIGMA channels for the Italian market in accordance with SIGMA Corporation guidelines, will be resolved amicably where possible.

Where legal action is required, the court of Milan will have jurisdiction, in accordance with applicable Italian law.

16. Reference language

In the event of discrepancies between versions in different languages, the Italian version published on the official SIGMA website intended for the Italian market shall prevail.
