Sigma Corporation (CEO: Kazuto Yamaki) is proud to sponsor TOKYO ART
BOOK FAIR 2025 (TABF), to be held at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo,
from December 11 to 14, and then from December 19 to 21, 2025, as a main
sponsor.



During the period, Sigma will exhibit a special booth within the TABF
venue, featuring two Sigma Foundation publications for sale ―Hanataba by
Sølve Sundsbø and Songen by Julia Hetta, both of whom are
internationally acclaimed photographers. Sigma will also plan a series
of events including a special talk from Sigma Foundation organizers and
Meet the Artists where visitors are able to meet the two photographers
collaborating on the Sigma Foundation photobook project.



In conjunction with the awards organized by TABF, the Sigma BF will be
presented as a supplementary prize in both exhibition periods. In
addition, within the TABF venue, Sigma will also have a small dedicated
space showcasing the Sigma BF.



Moreover, Sigma is supporting an exhibition "Takashi Homma: SONGSーThe Most Important Things of Refugees."

Main Sponsorship

SPECIAL BOOTH : Sigma

On July 18, 2025, Sigma established the Sigma Foundation. As its
inaugural project, the Sigma Foundation published two photobooks by
globally acclaimed photographers: Hanataba by Sølve Sundsbø and Songen
by Julia Hetta. Through direct collaboration with artists and the
publication of these works, the foundation is actively advancing its
contribution to photographic art.

At TABF, the Sigma Foundation will exhibit works by both artists and
offer their photobooks for sale. The presentation is designed to provide
a multidimensional experience, blending exhibition and publication to
highlight the artists' unique visual languages and meticulous
compositional artistry.

"Sigma Foundation: Creating a new platform for photographic art"

A talk event will be held as part of the official TABF event program.


In this event, Kazuto Yamaki, CEO of Sigma and founder of Sigma
Foundation, will introduce its mission and vision while presenting the
foundation's two inaugural projects: photography books by Sølve Sundsbø
and Julia Hetta. We are pleased to welcome Greger Ulf Nilson,
responsible for book design, and Creative Director Björn Kusoffsky, who
will reflect on the creative journey from their passion for photography
and art to the making of the books. Together, the discussion will
explore the significance of building a new platform dedicated to
photographic art.

The Sigma BF as a supplementary prize for the TABF Talent Award, and a small dedicated space showcasing the Sigma BF

Sigma will provide a Sigma BF and lens kit as a supplementary prize
for both Week 1 and Week 2 of the award organized by TABF. This award
honors creators who explore new forms of expression and values through
art publishing, and Sigma is proud to support this initiative by
contributing its products.

We will showcase the Sigma BF, a mirrorless camera that symbolically

Exhibition Support to Takashi Homma: SONGS－The Most Important Things of Refugees

Sigma is offering exhibition support to the official TABF exhibition
Takashi Homma: SONGS－The Most Important Things of Refugees throughout
Week1 and Week2.

In this project, Japanese photographer Takashi Homma visited the homes
of refugees and internally displaced people living in Bangladesh,
Colombia, and Japan. Through ongoing conversations and encounters, he
captured the personal belongings that carry memories of home--objects
that people held onto even in their displacement--and illuminated the
individual stories that numbers alone cannot convey. This work, SONGS
The Most Important Things of Refugees, was presented as a co-organized
initiative by Setouchi Triennale Executive Committee and UNHCR at
Setouchi Triennale 2025.
